A New Partnership

November 2018

We are excited to announce our partnership with Enactus, University of Ghana. This collaboration enables us to keep in touch with our beneficiaries in Ghana, and build relationships in the community.

We can't wait to see what this year brings!

Asempa

Facilitating Freshness

Asempa means ‘good news’ in Twi, a dialect of the Akan language which is spoken in southern and central Ghana.

Asempa aims to bring ‘good news’ to local farmers in Nkawkaw, Ghana by tackling local food waste issues, starting with post-harvest losses due to insufficient storage facilities. The project will also address the stigma surrounding imperfect produce by delivering educational programs to inform Ghanaian children on proper nourishment, and deliver workshops to farmers to teach them the most effective farming methods.
